Image to Video AI Generator

Upload a photo and describe how it should move. Musci3 animates the still image into a 4–30 second clip with native audio — no timeline, no keyframes, no editing software.

Generation requires an account and uses credits based on the model, duration and resolution you choose. Failed tasks are refunded automatically.

Image to Video Models

Every model here accepts a still image as its opening frame. They differ in how the camera moves, how physical the motion looks, and whether sound is generated with the picture — switch between them before committing to a long render.

From One Image to a Finished Video

Four things the generator does that a photo editor cannot.

Ready for the feed

16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 and 21:9 from the same upload. Reframe an animated photo for Reels or a landing-page hero without going back to the camera.

Output you can publish

Up to 720p with clean motion, coherent lighting and no watermark on the download — the line between an experiment and something a customer sees.

Motion with physics behind it

The model reads depth and weight out of your single frame, so cloth falls, hair lifts and the camera can push past objects that were never in the shot.

Fewer assets, more video

One photograph becomes a week of posts. No reshoot to schedule, no editor to brief, no second location fee.

How to Turn an Image Into a Video

Three steps, about a minute of work.

Upload

Drop in a photo, product shot, screenshot or illustration. JPG, PNG and WebP all work, and whatever you upload becomes the first frame.

Describe the motion

Say what moves and how the camera behaves — “slow push in, hair lifting in the breeze”. Then set duration, ratio and resolution.

Generate and download

Watch it render, regenerate if the movement missed what you meant, and download the result without a watermark.

What People Animate

Six jobs an image to video converter does faster and cheaper than booking a shoot.

Product photos that move

Turn a flat catalogue shot into a rotating, slow-push product video for a listing or a paid ad. The product stays the one you photographed, because it is the first frame.

Old photos brought to life

Animate a scanned family picture so the subject blinks, turns or smiles. Gentle camera drift is usually enough — the point is that the face stays recognisably the person.

Avatars and profile pictures

Give a portrait or an AI headshot a few seconds of motion for a channel banner, a Discord intro or a speaker slide.

Anime and illustration

Push a drawing, a manga panel or a 3D render into motion while keeping the line work and palette of the original art instead of re-rendering it as photography.

Property and interiors

Move a camera through a room from one interior photo. A slow dolly reads as a walkthrough and gives a listing something to autoplay.

Social posts and Reels

Convert a picture you already posted into a vertical clip. Same asset, a format the feed actually pushes, and no second shoot to schedule.

Image to Video FAQs

Is the image to video generator free?

You can open the generator, upload an image and set everything up without paying. Generating consumes credits, and every new account receives 15 free credits — enough to animate several short clips before deciding whether to buy more.

Do I need to sign up to turn a photo into a video?

Browsing the generator, the examples and the prompts needs no account. Running a generation does, because clips are rendered on our infrastructure and tied to your credit balance and history.

Does the generated video have a watermark?

No. Clips download clean at every plan level, including the free credits given at sign-up.

What image format and size work best?

JPG, PNG and WebP are all accepted. Use the highest-resolution version you have and crop it to the aspect ratio you intend to generate at — a 9:16 clip made from a 16:9 photo has to invent the top and bottom of the frame, and invented edges are where artefacts appear first.

How long can the video be?

Between 4 and 30 seconds, depending on the model. Longer durations cost proportionally more credits, so it is usually worth confirming the motion at 4 or 5 seconds before generating the full length.

Can I animate my own product photos?

Yes, and it is one of the most common uses. Because the photo is the first frame, the product keeps its real shape, colour and packaging instead of being re-imagined. Pinning the label in the prompt — “text stays flat and legible” — noticeably improves how well branding survives the motion.

Does it add sound to the video?

Several models generate native audio with the footage: ambience, effects and dialogue produced alongside the picture rather than added afterwards. Audio can be switched off in the generator settings when you plan to score the clip yourself.

Which model is best for image to video?

There is no single winner. Seedance 2.5 is the default because it handles long durations and native audio well. Veo 3.1 and Sora 2 are strong on physical realism, Kling V3 on human motion, and Hailuo 2.3 on stylised material. Generate one short clip on two or three of them before committing.

How long does a generation take?

Short clips typically finish in a few minutes; longer durations and higher resolutions take proportionally more. You can leave the page while a task runs — it keeps rendering and appears in your history when it is done.

Can I animate an old family photo?

Yes. Scan or photograph it at the highest resolution you can, then ask for restrained motion — a small head turn, a blink, a slow camera drift. Large requested movements are what make a restored photograph stop looking like the person in it.

Can I use the videos commercially?

Commercial use is included on paid plans. Check the current terms on the pricing page, and note that the rights to whatever you upload remain yours to clear — animating a photo does not grant you rights you did not already hold in it.

What if the motion is wrong?

Regenerate with a more specific prompt rather than a longer one. Naming a single action and an explicit camera move fixes most misses; if the subject deforms, add what should stay still. Tasks that fail outright are refunded automatically.
